Teaching Experience

Nero studied classical guitar at the Peabody Conservatory of Music and later went on to earn a BM in jazz guitar from the University of the Arts.  Nero also taught all instruments and coached bands at the School of Rock during its formative years.  He was the Music Director of both the Downingtown and Philadelphia branches. 

 

He is also a faculty member at the Mary Louis Curtis Branch of the Settlement Music School. He shares this formal training with years of experience as a gigging musician with his students. Nero teaches all styles of guitar, all levels & all ages, bass, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele at his home studio.
